Letting you go

I placed myself in the middle of the sea

Spoke your name

Let it flow from me, into the vastness of many waters

I returned to shore, to find your name shatterd upon sand

I picked up the pieces and held you alittle longer, before I returned you, to the vastness of the sea.

      1. I may be hooked and have to follow–there’s something unique and magnificent in your writing that I don’t see often (I have to be careful of naming faves, as I love my little writing community–all are talented!).

    1. Thank you for commenting and I’m sorry for your loss. It’s my hope that anyone reading my pieces can relate to them no matter the circumstances they may be enduring. I try not to write for myself but for others also. I’m humbled that you could relate to this and moved by it.

    1. Aww, that really means a lot to me. I get lost in the emotions sometimes and the words that craft what I’m feeling. I’m so glad that you take the time to read and comment. I do appreciate everything..thank you
