Words for tomorrow

The pen touches the earth

and

writes of joys and sorrows.

Words of dust,

placed upon shelves of tomorrow.

  1. Today’s world will be dust tomorrow. And, all of our stories will be done. Or, perhaps we will just keep on repeating ourselves forever, in which case the stories already told will be of great relevance and should not be forgotten. Do we write to share with those who say “oh, yes, I have been there” or to show those who have never been there?

    1. This present moment will be as dust in the future, words of dust but to share with those who have never been there and create hope that is brought by nothing more than truth. To share with those who have been there is also important because we can pull from one another stories, healing, which all leads to change. When words are allowed to turn to dust, we are doomed to repeat.
